What’s the difference between YUF and Cultivate Toronto (formerly YUF CSA)?

Young Urban Farmers (YUF) is our private service business offering people their own vegetable garden. You get to choose the type of garden as well as which varieties of plants you want to grow.

Cultivate Toronto (formerly Young Urban Farmers CSA) is a non-profit community initiative that has a greater education and outreach component. CultivateTO runs a backyard community-shared-agriculture (CSA) program where larger scale gardens are set up in specific neighbourhoods in Toronto (Riverdale, Dovercourt, and Wychwood) and shares of the garden are sold to community members.
