In many seed catalogs and plant descriptions, you’ll find some labeled as having savoy leaves. Typically, savoy refers to leafy plants that have densely wrinkled leaves, especially when it comes to cabbages. Spinach can also have savoy leaves.

Savoy cabbages tend to mature a little bit later than non savoy cabbages. Additionally, the leaves tend to cook and break down a little faster as well.
