For gardeners who prefer to work without gloves, getting dirt stuck underneath your nails can seem like inevitable outcome. However, there is one trick that ca help keep your nails clean with a simple bar of soap.

Before heading out into the garden, dig your nails gently into the bar of soap. The idea is to create a layer of soap that will protect the area just beneath your nails. Now, washing your hands after working in the garden should be much easier. Another thing some of our female colleagues do is to paint their nails. That way no one will know what is under them!
