Whether it’s help with creating a garden design plan, help in setting up the garden, or help in taking care of the garden, you can signup for one of our service packages below or we can tailor something to suit your needs. Garden Setup Service:

Our garden setup service includes delivery, setup, and materials for your edible garden along with the initial round of soil / plants you have chosen. In addition, we will provide you with our vegetable growing guide which gives you lots of information on how to best take care of your plants. This is best suited for our smaller footprint gardens and raised beds with a limited varieties of vegetables to be planted. If a wide range of plants are selected, multiple rounds of planting may be required. Basic service gardens are setup starting in April and continue throughout the outdoor growing season.

Garden Maintenance

Garden maintenance gives you peace of mind that your garden will be tended to in a professional manner, maximizing yields from your garden, keeping the weeds at bay, and reducing damage from harmful insects. We  provide you with  flexibility if you are out of town or want an extra hand to help manage your garden. This can include watering, weeding, pruning, harvesting, and general maintenance of the garden. We’ll design a program that fits in with your needs so you can enjoy the freshest veggies right from your yard. In-garden support is provided at $30 per hour and can be booked on an ad-hoc basis or as a 5, 20, or 50 hour combo package that can be divided into 1 hour sessions. Each maintenance package is custom tailored to your specific needs and schedule. We are happy to work with you to create and maintain the most productive urban vegetable garden! The amount of maintenance your garden will require varies based on garden size, garden type (ex. raised beds, containers, or in-ground), types of plants, and soil conditions. We’re happy to help you with an estimate and to work with you to ensure your garden gets properly maintained, whether it is regular maintenance over the entire growing season, or if you need a temporary helping hand while away on vacation.

Garden Coaching

Looking for some coaching/guidance help for your garden? Hire a Young Urban Farmers expert to come and help you get the most out of your garden. We can help you in terms of garden planning, garden maintenance, plant identification, proper watering techniques, pruning, thinning, and more.

Each consultation is custom tailored to your specific needs and schedule. Consultations available as a 1 hour starter pack or 5 hour combo pack (which can be divided into 1 hour segments as needed) for your convenience.
