On Saturday March 22nd, YUF was exhibiting at the Scarborough Seedy Saturday and Green Fair. Held at Blessed Cardinal Newman High School, the event attracted visitors and vendors from across the GTA. Two full rooms had lots of people passing through and it was a great chance for us to interact with gardening enthusiasts.
The event was also a great way for us to showcase one of our newest self-watering planters for this season – the Cascada planter. This three-tier planter can hold up to 39 plants in a 4′ tall and 19″ diameter planter – taking advantage of vertical and horizontal space to fit all the plants into this small area. Best of all, a large 8 liter reservoir in each planter ensures that all your plants in this sub-irrigated planter stay hydrated and happy even during the hot and sunny summer weather.
We’ve got several customers already lined up to grow in this planter this year and are sure to have lots more growing vertically this year as well.
