Gardens are living ecosystems filled with a variety of plants and other organisms. In this week’s tip, we want to remind you not to be afraid of change. Some plants will grow, flower, and die back in the same season, others will take a few years before they are able to showcase their full splendour.

Gardening is about change, sometimes with the plants changing as much as the gardener. Eating preferences, stylistic preferences, garden goals, and physical capabilities may change, so don’t be afraid to try something new in the garden, revamp existing features, move around paths and borders, or add new elements.

After all if variety is the spice of life, there are endless combinations when it comes to what you can do with your garden. At Young Urban Farmers, we like to try new varieties of plants, keep on learning about new growing methods, and enjoy the garden through all its seasons of life and change.
