Our 20" hardwood oak logs that have been prepared for you in a pristine environment just North of Toronto away from the pollution of the city and the pesticides used in typical farming operations. Our logs produce mushrooms far superior in taste to the ones you can get in the supermarket. The reason? Most supermarket shiitake mushrooms are grown on bags of sawdust, while your mushrooms will be growing on its natural environment, fresh cut hardwood logs.

Your 20” shiitake mushroom log has been expertly prepared for your growing pleasure. The shiitake spawn has been sitting in each of the oak logs for over a year and is now ready to start fruiting this spring. 90% of the work has been done for you. All you need to do is the final couple of steps (keep the log moist and in a shady area, and shock the log 3x per year to increase your harvest of mushrooms.
